The International Welcome Centre (IWC) of the University of Granada offers registration and assistance to visiting lecturers and doctoral students completing a stay at the UGR.

The procedure is simple. You have to send an email to the IWC (welcome@ugr.es) with Cc to the International Section of the International School for Postgraduate Studies (EIP) (epinternacional@ugr.es). The email must indicate your name as lecturer or doctoral student and your email address.

The IWC will do the following:

1. They will send you a standard welcome email with a data request form  (also available at the IWC) that you must complete and return.
2. Based on the information you provide in the form, the IWC will help you find accommodation and will provide advice prior to your arrival.
3. In-person welcome: you must make an appointment for an interview during which they will register you and provide you with a card giving you access to all the services offered by the UGR.

• Academic matters will not be handled by the IWC, but either by the staff at the International School for Postgraduate Studies (in the case of doctoral students) or by the research groups (post-doctoral researchers).
