International work placements

Doctoral students at the University of Granada can participate in two international work placement programmes related to their doctoral studies:

  • Erasmus+ traineeship
  • European student internship programme.
  • UGR International Internship Programme
  • Programme to conduct an internship outside Spain (Europe, America, Asia and Africa).
  • Employment and Work Placement Office (CPEP)
  • International work placements.

International Mobility Programme for Doctoral Students (2020)

Purpose: To promote the mobility of doctoral students to foreign higher education institutions and research centres.

Aimed at: Students registered on a doctoral programme of the University of Granada (UGR) at the time of application whose doctoral thesis proposal has already been approved.

Submission of applications: The standard application form can exclusively be submitted online through the following link: https://intl.ugr.es/?add_20ORIdocout. The submission runs until 30 October 2019 at 11.59 p.m. (Spanish mainland time).

Scientific output of the candidate: each scientific contribution will be scored according to the following scale (all quality indicators refer to Web of Science [WoS]) Score

Publication in a Q2 journal 2.50
Publication in a Q3 journal 2.00
Publication in a Q4 journal 1.50
Publication in non-WoS journals 1.00
Presentation at international conferences 0.75
Presentation at Spanish conferences 0.50
Other contributions 0.25

NOTE: Except for conference presentations, one point will be added for each first-author publication or for each co-authorship restricted to the applicant (+/- their thesis supervisor[s]).

NOTE: For publications in which the candidate does not appear as first, second or corresponding author, the score will be halved.

Suitability of the host institution and excellence of the receiving researcher
For a positive assessment of this section, the application must include a list of 5 publications related to the project to be developed, specifying their quality indicators (Web of Science). You must also include at least one competitive project of the receiving researcher conducted in the last 6 years.
  • Scale of the Doctoral School in Humanities, Social Sciences and Law (EDHCSJ) (approved by the EDHCSJ Management Committee on 10 September 2019).
Scientific output of the candidate: each scientific contribution will be scored according to the following scale Score
Publication in JCR or with A+ Excellence (CIRC classification) 3.33
Publication within groups A or B (CIRC classification) 2.50
Publication within groups C or D (CIRC classification) 1.50
Book chapters and books: same scaled score according to the publishers' position in the SPI
Suitability of the host institution and excellence of the receiving researcher Score

EduDonor Index (Worldwide Directory of Grants for Educational Institutions)

EduDonor Index is an overall source of information covering details on more than 600,000 grants available for educational institutions and organisations and their members in any country in the world. If you are a member of the university community and you have a project that requires funding, you can search for funds in the EduDonor directory.

EduScholarships Index (Worldwide Directory of Scholarships for Students)

EduScholarships Index is a database containing more than 2 million grants available for students all over the world. This database can be of interest for students who want to study at the UGR or anywhere else in the world.
