Mobility agreements (students and teaching staff) with universities in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA)

The coordinators of doctoral and master's degree programmes may propose establishing agreements with other universities in the EHEA that offer relevant programmes in their field.

European universities with which Erasmus agreements can be signed

Upon consultation with the coordinator of the host university, the coordinators must indicate:

  • The number of mobility places on offer for students and/or teaching staff.
  • The duration of the mobility period (for students, between 2 and 12 months). The actual duration must be specified, not the maximum duration.
  • Language requirements or recommendations.
  • The master's or doctoral degree programme at the host university.
  • Contact details of the coordinator at the host university.

If the mobility takes place during the student's research period for their master's dissertation or in the course of their doctoral programme, prior collaboration should have been established with the research groups that the student will be joining during their mobility period. The tutor at the host university must also be informed of the student's mobility.

  • Proposal for an ERASMUS mobility agreement to the International School for Postgraduate Studies (EIP): epinternacional@ugr.es
  • Submission deadline: proposals can be submitted at any time.

The Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization is responsible for the management of the call for proposals. This call is usually launched during the second half of October of the academic year in which the mobility takes place.

Mobility agreements (students and teaching staff) with other universities

It is possible to propose student and teaching staff mobility agreements with universities that have not signed the ERASMUS charter. Such proposals require the establishment of a framework agreement between the involved universities. Subsequently, a specific agreement must be signed. These agreements will be managed in collaboration with the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization.

  • We recommend checking whether there is already an exchange agreement with the host university that includes mobility activities during master's degree studies. If so, we will analyse its viability after contacting the corresponding partners:

  • In the absence of an existing mobility agreement with the host university, it is possible to propose one. We recommend checking whether there is already a framework agreement with the university.

To do so, you can use the search engine at the following link:

  • Once both parties sign the agreement, funding for this type of mobility can be requested through the calls for applications from the UGR Internationalization Fund.
