The Arqus Karst and Speleology Summer School will take place from the 16th to the 23rd of July in Wrocław and Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The applications for the event will be gathered by the end of April.

Concerning the financial conditions, all participants will receive a lump sum of 2 000 PLN to cover travel expenses and additionally, 350 PLN of pocket money for the whole event. Accommodation and food are provided from our side.

It is a valuable opportunity for students to obtain theoretical knowledge about karst and most importantly, improve practical skills regarding excavation work. From each of the universities, 2 participants will be selected among the students of biology, geography, geology, archeology, and environmental protection.

Please, note that there are some specific requirements for the participants since the students are expected to carry out excavation work as one of the activities. All requirements are listed in the call description.
