If you obtained your doctoral diploma from the University of Granada in the indicated academic year and you obtained the cum laude mention, you can apply for this award.

To complete the application, carefully read the information on the scale, as well as the instructions appearing in the different sections of the application.

• You have to present your application via the following FORM

• You must upload the following documents:
  1. Application form, self-assessed and in PDF format, preferably with a recognised electronic signature.
  2. Supporting documentation for the declared merits.

In order to present the supporting documents, you must include a link in the corresponding section of the form to view and download them in PDF format, preferably non-compressed, via cloud systems such as GoogleDrive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc. If the documents are too large, you may upload them zipped rather than in PDF format.

Make sure that the links to any documents you provide are working correctly until at least the end of the 2021/2022 academic year.

Within the application period you can modify the form as many times as you want. Before finishing the application procedure, please make sure the links are working properly.

If you are granted one of the Outstanding Doctorate Awards, you will consequently:

1. Receive an Outstanding Doctorate Award certificate (a certificate stating that you obtained such an award from the UGR Governing Council).
2. be exempted from paying the doctoral degree certificate issuing fees, in accordance with the “Order of 8 July 1988 in the application of Royal Decrees 185/1985 and 1496/1987 regarding the issuing of official university degree certificates”.

To put this issuing fee exemption into effect, if you have already applied for the certificate and paid these fees, you will have to request the corresponding refund.

For the refund of these fees, you must send the following application form through the UGR e-Administration Platform, attaching the award certificate and indicating that this award is the reason you are applying for the refund:
