Applying for your master's degree certificate

Once you have defended and passed your master's dissertation, and after verifying that your official academic transcript is complete, you can apply for your master's degree certificate.

Applications should preferably be submitted through the UGR e-Administration Platform, although it is also possible to apply in person. This form is only informative.

Once you have applied using this form, a payment form will be generated and you will be able to pay through your “Acceso identificado” Student Account / Mis pagos UGR (My UGR payments) / Acceso a otros pagos (Access to other payments). You can also make the payment using the bank account details indicated in the payment form. Fees are established annually by the Regional Ministry of Economy, Knowledge, Enterprise and Universities (CECEU) of Andalusia. You can consult the applicable fees for the current academic year by clicking on the following link: Fees.

Once you have paid the fees for the issuing of your degree certificate, you must submit the following documents if you have not already done so:

- Proof of payment of the degree certificate.

- Copy of your ID card or passport (it cannot be expired).

- Application form for the issuing of your master's degree certificate. Standard application form.

- If your ID card does not include your place of birth, your application form must be accompanied by a declaration of responsibility.

- If you do not hold an undergraduate degree from the UGR, you must present the degree certificate that gives you access to the official master's degree (original and copy to be certified).

- If you hold a non-recognised foreign degree, it must be legalised and, if necessary, translated into Spanish.

- Any documents that may entitle you to an exemption or reduction of the issuing fees.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please write your SURNAME and NAME correctly on the application form (including accents, if applicable). If you do not write your name correctly and you subsequently request the reissuing of your master's degree certificate to have any typos corrected, the University of Granada will not assume any responsibility and you will have to pay for the reissuing costs.
